Nursery Step Stool and Chairside Table

In the spirit of not buying temporary furniture for the nursery, I decided to skip getting a little table for next to the chair and instead, I painted one of the step stools we had from Ikea. Here it is:

It's best that you don't ask me what those shapes are because I'm not sure. It started out as a sort of giraffe pattern then it just morphed into something organic looking. I think it looks a bit like pickles too.

Now I have a place to set a drink and a book for during those late night feedings with the little guy.
