They look granite-esque (or so I am told!) I went the paint with anything and seal with Enviro-tex route. I will just live with the color.Brendanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6477432229440135125.post-17590950673733858452011-03-30T14:06:38.552-07:002011-03-30T14:06:38.552-07:00Thanks Bethany. I went back and forth on whether or not to post this but ultimately wanted to share my experience. Hopefully I can save someone else the trouble (and brain damage) with it. About two years ago we decided to get our kitchen counters reglazed or painted by professionals. (I almost did it myself) It was basically the same process, the smell was horrible and it lasted for three days, but I did not have to do any of the work. It was incredibly cheap and looked great. It had a very fine slight texture when you rubbed your hands on it and nothing chemical-like can be poured on it and of course no heat and no cutting, but it held up for the remainder of the time we lived there. I highly suggest doing it by professionals for a cheaper alternative to getting brand new counters!<br>http://thompsontimes-b.blogspot.com/2009/04/we-decided-to-have-our-countertops.htmlBethany Thompsonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07590568088086938004noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6477432229440135125.post-14053463529903856942011-03-29T13:18:41.290-07:002011-03-29T13:18:41.290-07:00I too have seen this product and was very tempted ...I too have seen this product and was very tempted to try it out in a bathroom but am so glad to see your results and I'm sorry that it turned out bad since the product is expensive.
